Medical Staffing Network (Boca Raton, FL): Design and implement new human resources / recruitment portal for addition to existing public and private web presence.  Evaluated existing web application, gathered requirements through engagement with target users, determined data and integration needs, designed and implemented solution using Microsoft's DNA (COM+, VB, ASP, SQL Server). 

Towncare Dental Partnership, Inc.  (Miami, FL): Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of an enterprise data warehousing solution; design work includes logical and physical relational data model as well as multidimensional data model.  Client owns and operates more than 25 dental practices in the south Florida area.  Analytical paths were developed within and between their practice management system, financial system, and payroll data; analytical areas include utilization, revenue, AR, AP, and GL.  Relational store developed with MS SQL Server 2000; multidimensional store (OLAP cubes) developed with MS Analysis Services 2000.  DTS and T-SQL utilized extensively for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). 

Synthelogic, Inc.  (Miami, FL): Designed and implemented add-on modules for an existing call center CRM application.  Added dynamic customer service representative scripting, integrated transparent outgoing document management, and automatically scheduled follow-up task assignment.  System developed with Microsoft tools (IIS w/ ASP, Visual Basic w/ COM+, and SQL Server 2000).  Implemented a web-based reporting solution for a leading provider of security and asset-management systems; system built with Microsoft tools and Crystal Enterprise.  Performed MS SQL Server DBA role and system administration role for Windows 2000/XP development environment.

Technical Lead responsible for design, development, implementation, and installation of an enterprise data warehousing solution utilized by both a leading South Florida HMO and a regional managed service organization (MSO); developed with MS Visual Basic, MS SQL Server 2000, MS Analysis Services 2000, Crystal Enterprise 8, Office 2000 w/ VBA, and IIS w/ASP to provide data warehousing and OLAP functionality.  DTS and T-SQL utilized extensively for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).  Performed MS SQL Server DBA role for regional MSO and several managed practices; also consulted as initial DBA during client installs, providing growth and maintenance plans and hand-off training to client’s DBA.  Performed and directed others in system administration role for regional MSO (PhyTrust) and several managed practices (Windows 2000 Server w/ Active Directory).  Responsibilities also included evaluating, purchasing, installing, and configuring Windows servers.

Designed, developed, and deployed an ActiveX control that allows PRC’s developers to interface with a TSAPI compliant telephony device connected to a PBX, providing complete call control and event notification; implemented using Microsoft Visual C++ (ATL and TSAPI).  Designed and developed an order-entry / customer service system to provide in- and out-bound sales and service for BellSouth: built a COM based object hierarchy (MS Visual Basic, MS Visual C++ and Borland C++ Builder) to obtain, organize, and expose dynamic data describing products, services, and the rules that determine their availability and visual presentation; Integrated with BellSouth systems using an existing HTTP socket-based vendor negotiation system.  On team responsible for the design and development of the presentation layer, a Visual Basic application with custom OCX controls.

Developed and deployed telephony applications (including call logic and voice-prompt packaging) for multiple world-class telecommunication providers (BT, WorldCom, etc).  Multi-language applications were developed in a UNIX environment (DEC) using C, C++, and Oracle for a proprietary intelligent call-processing network.  Applications included unified messaging and international calling cards.
